- UV Protection: It has been found that ultraviolet light can cause
cataracts, sun burns and even skin cancer. So if the glasses will be
worn outdoors - UV protection is a necessity.
- Polarized lenses block all reflected light. Tinted sunglasses
only reduce the amount of light that transmits through the lenses.
However polarized does much more. It blocks reflected light- the
light that makes you squint even when you have your shades on.
Remember to ask for a free demonstration!
- Photo chromatic: These lenses get darker outside and lighter
when indoors. This makes for the effect of glasses that magically
change into sunglasses outside. The only drawback to this is that
the lenses change based on UV light so in an indoor office environment
where UV lights are used the lenses will remain slightly tinted.
